About the role
The Warehouse Team Manager will support the site management team in the efficient and cost effective management of the warehouse operations.
It will be your responsibility to ensure the smooth running of the daily Warehouse operation and enable the required level of service to be provided to the customer at all times.
You will be responsible for
You will ensure that the receiving, storing, picking and dispatch of Goods in the correct manner to agreed productivity levels and within budgetary constraints, whilst maintaining a safe working environment through effective team management.
You will need
Qualifications recommended GCSE or equivalent to GCSE 4 and above.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience managing or supervising teams within a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
- Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop colleagues.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, productivity measures, and service delivery standards.
- Good understanding of health and safety legislation and safe working practices.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan, prioritise, and manage competing demands.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point.

- Experience working within an FMCG warehouse or distribution environment.
