About the role

As a Transport Operations Clerk, you will play a key roleinsupportingtheday-to-dayadministrationofthe Transport Department, whilealsoassistingwithwarehouseadministrationactivitieswhenrequired.

You'llberesponsibleforensuringtransportdocumentationisprocessedaccurately, supportingoperationalactivities, maintainingrecords, andliaisingwithdrivers, colleagues, andmanagementteamstohelpkeeptheoperationrunningsmoothly.

Thedutiesandresponsibilitiesofthisrolecanchangedailydependingonoperationalrequirements, soflexibility, adaptability, andawillingnesstosupportdifferentareasofthebusinessareessential.

You will be responsible for

Whether it's issuing drivers with their paperwork, supporting route departures, producing Tachograph reports, conducting driver debriefs, or assisting with operational challenges as they arise, you'll play a vital role in thesuccessofthe Transportfunction.

Asanessentialmemberofthe Transport Operations Team, you'llprovideadministrativeandoperationalsupporttohelpensuredeliveriesrunefficiently, compliancestandardsaremaintained, anddrivershavetheinformationandresourcestheyneedtoperformtheirroleseffectively.

No two shifts are the same, so you'll need to be adaptable, organised, andreadytosupporttheteamwhereverrequired.

You will need

Experienceworkingwith HGVdriversorwithinatransport, logistics, orfleetoperationsenvironmentwouldbeadvantageous.

However, weareequallyinterestedincandidateswhocandemonstratetransferableskillsgainedinotherfast-pacedadministrativeoroperationalroles.
