Tongue Literary Scouting: Assistant Scout – Maternity Cover
Tongue Literary Scouting, a dynamic & boutique literary scouting agency based in the UK, is looking for an assistant scout for a 6-month maternity cover position
Founded in 2021, TLS works with a number of international publishers, as well as a UK television production group, sourcing adult fiction and non-fiction to be published in translation and adapted for television.
The role will include putting together client bulletins; maintaining the company database; reading and reporting on a wide variety of fiction and non-fiction; and assisting with client queries. Some experience preferable, but we will consider candidates looking for their first role within the industry. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a good eye for detail and a broad reading taste.
The full-time, fixed-term role – from November 2024 to April 2025 – will be largely remote, with occasional travel to London. Salary between £26k – £28k pro-rata.
