Do you have a spare few hours each week to help provide books to communities worldwide? Perhaps you are retired or work part-time? We’re looking for dedicated volunteers to support our small, friendly, warehouse team, helping prepare book shipments by selecting titles from pick lists at our newly refurbished warehouse in Cheney Manor, Swindon.
At Book Aid International we share the power of books and help build a more equal future. Every year we work with our partners worldwide to provide over one million brand-new books which support establishing libraries in communities where people would otherwise have few opportunities to read. By volunteering with us, you’ll be helping us support millions of readers worldwide.
You’ll need a positive, team-focused attitude, good attention to detail, and the ability to carry out light lifting of individual books. In return, we offer reimbursable travel expenses (e.g. bus fare) and the chance to be a part of a friendly team who are making a real difference for readers worldwide.
