We serve a diverse customer base operating in various environments from sporting events and gastropubs to fine dining hotels and event catering. We have opportunities for full time placements or simply pick up extra shifts on your free days to earn extra cash! We believe that skilled chefs should have the control over their own careers and maximise their earning potential at the times that work for them.

We have placements for relief chefs across the Midlands covering head chef, senior sous chef, sous chef, chef de partie and commis chef.
Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for experienced and reliable chefs that take pride in their work, integrate seamlessly into a kitchen team and are keen to help us to grow our business by delivering a fantastic service to our customers. Our relief chefs must:
- Have excellent time keeping and enthusiasm on every placement
- The ability and willingness to support our customers in all areas of the kitchen
- Excellent working knowledge of the highest standards of Health and Safety and Food Hygiene legislation
- Ensure that the Bookachef Code of Conduct for chefs is adhered to at all times
- Minimum 2 years experience working in a fast-paced commercial environment
- Communicate effectively with all venue staff
- Have a copy of their Food Hygiene Certificate (At least Level 2)
