We are looking for experienced chefs to cover relief placements across Manchester and Greater Manchester. We serve a diverse customer base operating in various environments from sporting events and gastropubs to fine dining hotels, restaurants and event catering. We have opportunities for full time placements or simply pick up extra shifts on your free days to earn extra cash! We believe that skilled chefs should have the control over their own careers and maximise their earning potential at the times that work for them. Commutable from Manchester City Centre, Stockport, Altrincham, Wilmslow, Knutsford, Prestbury, Leigh, Bolton, Oldham Benefits of working with Bookachef Set your own hourly rate Get paid for all the hours you work You dictate when youre available to work Work as many or as few shifts as you choose PAYE or Ltd Company engagements available Develop your experience in different venues You decide how far you travel You pay us no fees at all Holiday Pay entitlement We have placements for agency chefs across Manchester covering head chef, senior sous chef, sous chef, chef de partie and commis chef. Ideal Candidate We are looking for experienced and reliable chefs that take pride in their work, integrate seamlessly into a kitchen team and are keen to help us to grow our business by delivering a fantastic service to our customers. Our Agency chefs must: Have excellent time keeping and enthusiasm on every placement The ability and willingness to support our customers in all areas of the kitchen Excellent working knowledge of the highest standards of Health and Safety and Food Hygiene legislation Ensure that the Bookachef Code of Conduct for chefs is adhered to at all times Minimum 2 years experience working in a fast past commercial environment Communicate effectively with all venue staff Have a copy of their Food Hygiene Certificate (At least Level 2) If you would like any more information, please get in touch today on 0161 9713075, were happy to help!
