Overview: Ofsted Registered Manager - Therapeutic children's home in Blackpool. Lead a therapeutic children's home where your expertise directly transforms young lives and creates lasting positive change. This is a full-time role with a salary of up to £55,000 per annum plus a bonus of up to £10,000 per annum. A vibrant and enthusiastic individual is sought to lead the children's house, a home, and help deliver excellent care in a therapeutic environment.
This is an exciting opportunity for a therapeutically minded and experienced Children's Home Registered Manager. You will help develop, lead and inspire a staff team, shape the future of the home, deliver the best care, be a great role model, and help children understand and move through their early life experiences and trauma. Therapeutically Informed Practices provide a secure and caring environment to allow children to develop healthy relationships, grow and achieve positive outcomes. The Registered Manager will work closely with the Responsible Individual to further develop staff's therapeutic practices and skills.

What is required:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a position relevant to the residential care of children
- At least 2 years in a role supervising and managing staff
- NVQ Level 3 In Children and Young People's Workforce
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England)
- A "Good" or "Outstanding" grade within your recent Ofsted Inspections
- A good understanding of Therapeutic Practices and PACES
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide care for the children/young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties, aged 8 - 17 years.
- Ensure the home operates in compliance with the standards and regulations set out in the Children's Home Regulations and Quality Standards 2015
- Implement and work in accordance with all aspects of the Statement of Purpose within the Children's Home
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the home whilst advocating for the children and young people enabling them to thrive and reach the best possible outcomes
- Understand and apply Safeguarding procedures and knowledge of the Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
- Work in line with the Ofsted SCCIF (Social Care Common Inspection Framework)
- Develop and supervise a staff team, delegating tasks appropriately to roles and responsibilities
- Be part of an on-call system
- Collaborate with the Responsible Individual and commissioned psychologists and other therapists to develop and embed the Organisation's Therapeutically Informed Training programme
