This Support Worker position offers the opportunity to support adults with learning disabilities to live independently, build confidence, and achieve their goals while developing a meaningful career in care.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting daily living skills such as cooking, budgeting, and personal routines
- Delivering person‑centred support that reflects individual needs, choices, and aspirations
- Promoting health and wellbeing, including support with medical appointments
- Encouraging social inclusion, education, training, and employment opportunities
- Administering medication safely and following safeguarding procedures
- Championing equality, diversity, and human rights in everyday practice
Shift Details
- Two permanent roles available: 37 hours per week and 38 hours per week
- Two‑week rota provided
- A variety of day shifts, with start times from 7:30 am and finishes up to 10:00 pm
- Alternate weekends required
