THE ROLE
Reporting to the Trading Director, Marketplace Manager is a fundamental role at boohooMAN, working with all functions to maximise profitability and contribute to the overall business strategy and growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute boohooMAN’s Marketplace strategy, focusing on identifying new business opportunities and scalable growth initiatives.
- Identify and build key internal and external relationships to support new Marketplace growth initiatives and onboard new partners at pace.
- Use knowledge of international markets and customer needs to ensure we onboard the right brands for each market.
- Build and manage strong relationships with new and existing partners to foster long‑term collaboration and commercial success.
- Partner with BI and Marketing to optimise campaigns, promotions and pricing strategies using data‑driven insights.
- Support the Debenhams Marketplace team and boohooMAN SLT in managing contracts with partners.
- Build strong working relationships with key internal stakeholder groups—product, ecommerce, marketing, studio, legal—to ensure successful implementation of brands on our Marketplace.
- Research and track industry trends to stay up to date on best practices in the field.
- Lead brainstorming sessions with internal teams to identify key partners that complement the MAN brand offer.
- Manage budgeting and reporting of partnerships.
- Plan and execute promotional activities to drive traffic and sales.
- Monitor competitor pricing strategies and market conditions to adjust pricing and promotional activities accordingly.
- Track and analyse sales data, partner performance and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Develop KPIs and reporting frameworks to track partnership success and present actionable insights to leadership.
- Generate regular reports on sales performance, inventory levels and marketplace trends, providing actionable insights for decision‑making.
- Work with and support BI, Ecommerce and Marketing teams to push promo messaging, using analytics to optimise campaigns, promotions and pricing.
- Engage with the group’s key seller portfolio to ensure we continuously unlock opportunities for them to scale and grow on our Marketplace.
- Act as a brand ambassador for the boohooMAN Marketplace, promoting the platform internally and externally to drive awareness and credibility.
- Undertake business travel as required to deliver the above actions, including travel with buying, design and technical team members.

- Proven experience in an analytical/insight role with a product focus.
- Solid experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Problem‑solving aptitude, ability to work under pressure and with agility.
- Strong multi‑channel trading experience within a fast‑paced retailer.
- A can‑do entrepreneurial attitude.
- Strong commercial and analytical skills and thrives in fast‑paced, dynamic environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a history of establishing key partnerships and influencing at senior stakeholder level.
- Experience in developing competitive pricing strategies that maximise profitability while remaining competitive on the marketplace.
