With a focus on streetwear and tracksuits, our Design team works closely with Buying, Merchandising, Garment Technology, Creative, and E-comm to bring bold, disruptive, and affordable styles to market. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Create CADs, new shapes, and accurate tech packs to support the development of ranges.
- Research trends across fashion, street style, vintage, music, sport, art, and pop culture to inspire original concepts.
- Support the Design Manager and Senior Designers during key design meetings and presentations.
- Assist with preparing and updating trend and fabric packs.
- Collaborate with Buying and QC teams to ensure products are delivered to the highest standard.
- Analyse daily trade and competitor reports to identify opportunities and inform design direction.
- Take ownership of key trend stories and capsule projects as directed.
- Mentor interns and assistant team members, fostering growth and development.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure correct execution of samples and trims.
- Continuously update reaction boards with new-in research and product ideas.
What We Are Looking For:
- Previous experience in a junior or assistant menswear design role, ideally within streetwear or fast fashion.
- Confident working across multiple categories with strong attention to detail.
- Strong commercial design handwriting aligned with the boohooMAN aesthetic.
- Skilled in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD software.
- Able to translate trend research into relevant, commercial product ideas.
- Excellent time management and resilience under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with internal and external teams.
- A genuine passion for fashion, youth culture, and streetwear.
