Your role

Leading a small, well-established, and hands-on team, you will be responsible for the smooth and safe running of 2 of our Manchester sites. You will ensure all statutory compliance is executed efficiently and work closely with our executive and management brand teams to ensure the level of service provided stays aligned to the changing needs of the business.

What you’ll be doing

  • To oversee the day-to-day operations of all facilities at our Manchester Head Office, including maintenance, repairs, and capacity planning.

  • To manage and execute all statutory checks and planned preventative maintenance (PPM).

  • To support with the management of the facilities budget, tracking expenses, reviewing costs, and identifying opportunities for savings. This will involve working closely with our procurement specialists and finance partners to maximise output and minimise spend

  • To establish and maintain relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure the timely and quality delivery of services.

  • To create in-house PPM check to ensure our premises and assets are protected and maintained.

  • To collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the senior leadership team, to address facility-related issues and requirements.

  • To ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, conducting regular inspections, filing and maintaining all records and implementing corrective measures as needed.

  • To provide a hands-on approach to leadership and guidance to the facilities team, reviewing, participating and assigning workload whilst overseeing the standard of work conducted.

  • To perform other duties as assigned.

  • Proven experience as a mid-level Facilities Lead, and previous working experience in a leadership role vital.

  • Experience of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to resolve complex issues and demonstrate good judgement.

  • Experience in managing budgets and providing spend projections

  • Strong knowledge of facility operations, maintenance practices, and safety regulations.

  • Strong hands-on collaborator with the ability to actively lead from the front and motivate a team.

  • Excellent communication and people skills.

  • The ability to multitask, prioritise workload, and manage projects in a fast-paced and agile environment.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • A practical, flexible, and innovative approach to work.
