THE ROLE We are looking to hire an experienced Creative Manager for a period of 12 months. The role is a maternity cover, working for one of the boohoo Group\’s most successful brands. This role will involve leading the graphic design team and overseeing asset workflows while delivering fashion-forward creative across multiple channels within the business. You will collaborate with teams across marketing, e-commerce, product, and studio to create compelling and consistent assets that reflect the Karen Millen brand. Acting as the brand guardian, overseeing the quality and consistency of all marketing assets, both owned and paid. YOUR TEAM You will report into the Karen Millen Brand Director and work alongside a highly skilled team of marketers. Marketers for the boohoo group have a reputation for being disruptors. We like that. When it comes to all things brand awareness and e-commerce, we’re not afraid to be brave. Each of our teams is the voice of their own brand, so we utilise creative campaigns, social media and influencer outreach, PR & Comms, and events. On the e-commerce side of things, we drive traffic to our online stores and generate sales through affiliate marketing, paid media, CRM and SEO. Everything goes towards achieving our mission to be a global fashion e-commerce leader. WHAT YOU\’LL BE DOING Key Responsibilities: Brand Consistency: Lead the graphic approach across all touchpoints, ensuring a cohesive visual identity. Ensure the design team delivers on-brand visuals that reflect the latest trends while staying true to Karen Millen’s identity. Creative Campaigns: Work with external agencies and in-house Art Director to deliver post treatments for seasonal campaigns, collaborations, and creative shoots. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, e-commerce, product, and studio teams to conceptualise and deliver design solutions. Ensure effective communication of concepts and work closely with stakeholders to manage creative briefs. Campaign & Content Design: Design creative assets for campaigns, social media, emails, e-commerce, print marketing, and internal/external presentations. Team Development: Lead, mentor, and guide the design team, working closely with the Art Director on project development. Inspire innovation, foster a creative environment, and ensure the team meets deadlines and project requirements. Asset & File Management: Manage and organise creative files and assets effectively to ensure accessibility and consistency. Creative Innovation: Stay up to date with industry trends and explore innovative design solutions. Proactively contribute new ideas to elevate the brand\’s creative output. Asset Review: Contribute to regular asset reviews across various channels, including paid media, website content, email campaigns, social media, and influencer partnerships. You consistently deliver high-quality, fashion-forward design work that aligns with brand standards. Collaborative & Organised: You work effectively with cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines with strong organisational skills. Leadership Skills: You are an experienced manager who can mentor, motivate, and inspire a creative team to consistently deliver outstanding results. Fashion-Focused: You have a keen interest in fashion and understand the trends that influence design in the industry. With an understanding of the Karen Millen brand and the ability to maintain its look and feel across all design work. Proactive & Commercial: You are innovative yet commercially-minded, understanding how your creative work can positively impact business performance. Technical Skills: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, After Effects) and other design/animation tools. Experience with digital content creation and print design is essential. Education: Degree in a creative field is preferred.
