Calling all entertainers and dancers in Medway, Kent. Are you enthusiastic about working with children and looking for a supportive company to work with? Maybe you’re new to the area and want something fun, flexible and rewarding?
Boogie Tots is a fun, energetic dance class for walking tots up to age 5. Our classes are packed with great music, action nursery rhymes, classic party dances and so much more. We create connections, encourage bonding and interaction, and help build children’s confidence. Every class is fully inclusive, welcoming children to express themselves freely.
We are currently looking for a Boogie Tots Instructor for one of our SEN schools in Gillingham and Strood for 2 afternoons.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience working with both adults and children in an entertainment or educational setting
- Own a portable music system with music player and microphone
- Hold a driving licence and have access to a car
- Have an up-to-date DBS, relevant licences, public liability insurance and first aid qualification (or be willing to obtain them)
- Be quick-thinking, adaptable, friendly, approachable and welcoming
- Have a flexible attitude and a love for fun
This is a part-time, self-employed position covering classes in schools and nurseries, with plenty of extra opportunities for the right person, from birthday parties and after-school clubs to workshops and seasonal events. This position would suit someone already covering kids' classes on a self-employed basis or a performer/entertainer who is looking for daytime work.
