We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/waiter to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming environment for all patrons. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining high standards of food safety, and ensuring the smooth operation of the café during busy periods. Previous experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks.
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to at all times.
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment efficiently and safely.
- Take customer orders accurately and process payments using the till system.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and customer areas throughout shifts.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks when required.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly.
