Bonhill Partners are currently supporting an Asset Management firm in their search for a Technical Delivery Lead. They will be responsible for overseeing software development activities, ensuring adherence to best practices, and enabling efficient, high-quality delivery. This role will involve close collaboration with project managers, senior business analysts, and development teams to align priorities and maintain robust technical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and enforce development standards and patterns across new and existing technologies.
- Optimize development tools, processes, and best practices to maximize efficiency and quality.
- Work closely with project managers and senior business analysts to ensure clear definition and understanding of priorities, timelines, and requirements.
- Oversee the quality of technical designs and software, ensuring compliance with applicable patterns, templates, and standards.
- Drive timely completion of development activities and deliverables in alignment with business goals.
- Lead the automation of CI/CD pipelines to enhance deployment efficiency and reliability.
- Provide line management for development team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Support capability and skills development within the development team, mentoring and coaching team members as required.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in a technology delivery leadership role, managing development teams and projects.
- Strong expertise in software development standards, design patterns, and modern development methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with development tools, processes, and automation practices.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with project managers, business analysts, and technical teams.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipeline automation and DevOps best practices.
- Experience in leading and mentoring development teams, including performance management and career development.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance technical excellence with business needs.

This is an initial 12 month FTC. Salary: £100k - £120k + Benefits. Hybrid working: 2 days in the office.
