Role: Cyber Security Project Manager (Contract, Inside IR35), then converting to Permanent staff with the client.
Location: London, Liverpool Street (4 days in office, reducing to 3 days after converting perm.)
Contract length: 6 months, then converting to permanent staff.
Rate: Up to £600 per day
Salary (upon conversion): £85,000 + bonus + benefits
Responsibilities:
- Lead delivery of multiple cyber initiatives including directory services end‑of‑life remediation, privileged access platform upgrades, and enterprise DLP enhancement programmes.
- Strong grounding in technical environments - ideally cyber security; infrastructure background also highly valuable.
- Proven ability to operate independently, drive progress, and remove blockers without escalation.
- Experience working within large, complex organisations; financial services or banking exposure highly advantageous.
- Drive project execution across security, infrastructure, and architecture teams, ensuring milestones are met without hand‑holding.
- Own planning, RAID management, stakeholder updates, and governance reporting across complex technical workstreams.
- Coordinate with engineering, cyber operations, and third‑party vendors to ensure smooth implementation and transition to BAU.
- Oversee testing, cutover planning, and change management for security tooling and infrastructure upgrades.
- Ensure all project artefacts, documentation, and controls meet regulatory and organisational standards.
