About the Role: We are supporting a leading global investment bank in recruiting a skilled Windows Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) for their London office. This permanent role offers a hybrid working model with three days in the office per week. You will ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of the bank’s Windows infrastructure while driving automation and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop scripts and automation tools to improve infrastructure reliability and streamline deployments.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and other automation workflows across global teams.
  • Manage and maintain AWX/Ansible Tower to optimize automation processes.
  • Monitor, maintain, and upgrade Windows Server environments in a complex enterprise setting.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Active Directory across multiple global sites.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with PowerShell scripting.
  • Extensive experience in Windows Server administration, updates, and upgrades.
  • Deep understanding of Active Directory administration and troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern SRE/automation practices.
  • Previous exposure to financial services or investment banking environments is a plus.
