Bonhill Partners are supporting a leading commodity trading firm in their search for a Senior Software Engineer, specialising in full stack development with strong C#.

This is a hands-on development role working closely with business users to capture requirements and enhance trading systems. The ideal candidate will challenge the status quo, bring fresh ideas, and strive for continuous improvement while acquiring deep business and system knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and enhance enterprise applications, collaborating with business users to understand processes and requirements.
  • Drive innovation and improvements within the technology landscape.
  • Gain understanding of the trading business and associated systems.
Technical Expertise
  • 5+ years of experience in application development, with strong C# and SQL.
  • Experience with ASP.Net.
  • Experience with full-stack development, including modern web frameworks such as React or similar.
  • Familiarity with real-time messaging (e.g., Kafka).
  • DevOps practices, including automation, CI/CD, orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Exposure to cloud technologies (preferably AWS) and an understanding of hybrid environments.
  • Experience within commodities trading is beneficial.
