An established Asset Management firm is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join its growing data and reporting function on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering business-critical reporting and insights while working closely with Finance, Technology and front-office stakeholders.

Location

Chester (2 days per week in the office)

The Role

You'll develop and enhance Power BI dashboards, extract and analyse data using SQL, and deliver meaningful management information that supports business performance and strategic decision-making.

You'll also contribute to the implementation of a new finance system, improve reporting processes, promote strong data governance, and help drive continuous improvements across the reporting function.

  • Key Skills
  • Strong SQL and Power BI skills, including DAX and Power Query.
  • Experience building dashboards, reporting suites and management information.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and present clear, actionable insights.
  • Experience working with Finance, Technology and business stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of data modelling, reporting automation and data governance.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experience with Snowflake and/or SAP is advantageous.
