Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Manager to join our Product team.

What you'll do

  • Work across Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Business Development to define and ship product features that matter.
  • Turn ambiguous business problems into clear, sprint-ready requirements — user stories, acceptance criteria, edge cases and all.
  • Own UAT, catching issues before they reach customers.
  • Manage relationships with enterprise clients — acting as a trusted, responsive point of contact who can navigate complex organisations and keep delivery on track.
  • Keep internal stakeholders aligned and informed without over-engineering the process.
  • Use data and customer insight to make decisions and measure what’s working.

What we're looking for

  • You have 3–5 years of product management experience, ideally within B2B fintech, financial services, or regulated platforms.
  • You’ve worked in Agile environments and know how to write requirements that developers can actually use.
  • You’re comfortable with both API and file-based integration patterns — you understand REST API design and consumption, and you’ve worked with batch file processes (SFTP, CSV) of the kind that large financial institutions depend on.
  • You think about UX at every layer, not just the interface — from how an API response is structured to how an end user moves through a flow.
  • You’re customer-obsessed — you dig into the why behind requests, not just the what.
  • You’re comfortable making decisions with incomplete information and iterating from there.
  • You take ownership end-to-end. If something falls through the cracks, you notice and fix it.
  • You can hold a lot in your head — understanding how features interact with systems, compliance constraints, and partner needs simultaneously.
  • You communicate with precision and adapt your style to the audience — whether that’s a technical lead, a compliance team, or a C-suite contact at a large institution.
  • You’re highly organised — you track open threads, manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, and nothing falls through the cracks on your watch.
  • You have experience managing enterprise or institutional clients — you understand how large organisations make decisions and know how to build trust while keeping delivery moving.

The reality of the role

This is a high-ownership position at a scaling startup that serves large, complex institutions. You’ll need to move fast and ship with confidence while managing the expectations and processes that come with enterprise clients. There will be ambiguity, competing priorities, and problems without obvious answers. If that’s where you do your best work, we’d love to hear from you.

Why Join Bondsmith?
