Are you interested in working for a high‑growth, international service sector organisation who are seeking an experienced and motivated Finance Manager to play a key role in transforming and scaling its finance function? This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys improving processes, building structure, and managing a small team within a fast‑paced, expanding business. Reporting into a highly engaging, supportive and forward‑thinking finance leadership team, you will join a successful finance team and take on a high‑impact role, helping the Department evolve in line with the company’s rapid international growth. You'll be central to improving reporting, strengthening controls and driving efficiency across the finance function.
Key Responsibilities of the position are:
- Produce monthly Management Accounts and Quarterly Board Packs.
- Manage all transactional finance processes.
- Lead and support finance staff including accountants.
- Oversee multi‑region payroll (UK and overseas), including commissions and bonuses.
- Manage Group Treasury activities.
- Liaise with external accountants across all regions.
- Prepare VAT and tax submissions.
- Drive improvements including:
- Technology investment to automate manual processes.
- Creating rolling forecasts and improving forward‑looking visibility.
- Streamlining processes, controls, systems, and reporting.
Ideally you will have the following background:
- Experience operating at Finance Manager level or similar.
- Experience in an SME environment, ideally recruitment industry or a similar service sector position.
- Strong communication skills and confidence when dealing with stakeholders.
- Ability to work at pace and meet tight deadlines.
- Positive, collaborative, and supportive team mindset.
- Strong IT skills, including excellent Microsoft Office knowledge.
