A superb opportunity for a Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator has become available with one of Oxfordshire's most exciting, and fastest growing, companies. The role is based at their brand new global logistics centre in Abingdon (OX14). This is a busy role working in a fast-paced and friendly environment, joining an established team with an excellent work ethic. This is a temp to perm role offering a 6 month temporary contract to begin with and excellent prospects to become permanent in the future, as the company continues to grow and expand.
Responsibilities of the Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator include:
- Ensuring timely supply of materials to meet demand levels
- Accurate and timely management of stock and systems for goods-in and goods-out activities
- Day to day management of inventory levels, effectively communicating with the wider logistics team
This role requires someone who already has warehouse and logistics experience, in particular experience operating material handling equipment such as Counterbalance Forklift or Ride-On Pallet Truck, plus the ability to work in a team and pick things up quickly. Working hours are 8am-4pm, Mon-Fri. There is a good pay rate on offer plus regular overtime as well as an annual bonus. There is plenty of scope for career progression in the long term.
