- The
- Junior Facilities and Maintenance Technician will assist with the following:
- Carry out basic building repairs and general maintenance.
- Support routine inspections and testing, including fire alarms, emergency lighting, and other safety equipment.
- Help complete logbooks, forms, and electronic records.
- Assist with the induction and supervision of external contractors.
- Respond to general helpdesk requests such as meeting room setups or moving furniture.
- Assist with small projects, including office/lab moves and refurbishments.
- The ideal candidate for the
Junior Facilities and Maintenance Technician will possess a positive attitude, good communication skills and a genuine interest undertaking hands on maintenance work and learning on-the-job.
Hours of work are 8am-5pm Monday to Friday plus some out of hours overtime.
The primary place of work will be Oxford (OX4) and will require regular travel to other sites in Abingdon and Didcot.
