We're looking for a Manufacturing Technician to join a high-tech instrumentation team building advanced optical and electronic systems used in cutting-edge scientific applications.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assemble and test precision instruments (electronics + optics)
  • Build electrical harnesses and electronic sub-systems
  • Align optical components using laser systems
  • Carry out Final Acceptance Testing (training provided)
  • Follow detailed work instructions and record test data accurately
  • Support fault finding and repair activities
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing

Experience required:

  • Strong hands-on assembly experience and excellent attention to detail
  • Experience in electronics, optics, or precision instrumentation (approx. 3 years)
  • Ability to perform basic fault finding (e.g. continuity testing)
  • Comfortable working in a lab/PPE environment
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Laser/optics experience desirable
