Our client, a leading provider is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Business Partner to play a pivotal role in delivering a proactive and strategic HR service. As an HR Business Partner, you will collaborate closely with HR colleagues, senior leaders, and key stakeholders to provide professional, people-focused HR expertise. This role is a fixed term contract until Easter 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead reviews of pay, reward, and related policies using internal and external benchmarking.
  • Contribute to policy development and HR project delivery within the broader HR team.
  • Support ongoing organisational reviews to drive improvements in teaching and learning quality.
  • Provide expert internal consultancy on a range of HR matters, from ER to performance management.
  • Coach and support senior managers in anticipating and resolving organisational challenges.
  • Manage complex employee relations cases and change management programmes.
  • Lead and advise on full-cycle recruitment and selection, ensuring best practices and compliance.
  • Drive consistent talent management and succession planning initiatives.
  • Represent HR at key meetings including recruitment, investigations, disciplinaries, and grievances.
  • Develop and implement progressive HR policies tailored to the education and public sector.
  • Lead or contribute to key HR projects and restructuring initiatives, including the implementation of a new HR/Payroll system.
  • Use HR data and analytics to inform decision-making and report development.
  • Support and foster positive employee relations, engaging with unions where necessary.
  • Contribute to HR business planning and act as an ambassador at internal/external events.

Key Skills:

  • CIPD qualified (or working towards) and have demonstrable experience in a generalist HR role at a business partner level.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Proven experience in managing complex ER cases and organisational change.
  • A proactive approach with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Experience within education or public sector settings is advantageous.
