You will support the delivery of high quality accounting services, working closely with senior staff to ensure accurate reporting, excellent client service and efficient workflow management. This position is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in practice.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare VAT returns, statutory accounts & corporation tax from manual and software-based records
- Review client financial data for accuracy, completeness and compliance
- Manage daily client queries and deliver a high standard of customer service
- Communicate professionally via phone, email and Microsoft Teams
- Maintain internal control records including reminders and follow-ups
- 1+ year of experience in an accounting environment
- Experience with accounting software and strong Microsoft Office skills
- Proven customer service experience
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to adapt within a fast-paced practice environment
- Team-oriented with a proactive approach
- AAT/ACCA/ACA part-qualified or qualified (preferred but not essential)
- Confident and eager to learn
