FMCG Product Developer - Ferndown, Dorset - Up to £42K
We're working with a client looking for an experienced Product Developer to develop physical FMCG and non-food consumer products for retail.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage product development from initial brief through to final sign-off.
Coordinate sourcing, costing, specifications, and sample approvals.
Work with overseas suppliers and internal teams to ensure quality, compliance and deadlines are met.
Identify opportunities for product innovation and cost optimisation.
Maintain accurate product records, specifications, and development trackers.
Requirements:
3+ years' experience developing physical FMCG or non-food consumer products for retail.
Experience in product sourcing, costing, specifications, and sampling.
Strong commercial awareness, organisation, and attention to detail.
Experience working with overseas manufacturers and global supply chains.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with project management tools such as Monday.com, and ERP or product management systems, would be advantageous.
This role would suit a commercially minded, hands-on product developer who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
