Our client is a highly successful next generation manufacturing company who offer challenging and rewarding work in a collaborative environment with exceptional progression and development opportunities for their Engineers. The team is building bespoke controllers for a range of aerospace applications and are currently seeking a highly motivated Embedded Systems Hardware Engineer to support the design and testing of these controllers.

The role involves taking existing development controller configurations and developing them into production ready solutions, refining functionality and improving reliability. The ideal Embedded Systems Hardware Engineer will have strong expertise in embedded hardware development and also ideally have some familiarity with the firmware design principles.

  • Design and develop hardware for electric motor controllers including component selection, schematic capture and PCB layout
  • Rapidly implement hardware solutions for onboarding new engine ancillaries
  • Contribute to the testing of the controller to ensure reliability and robustness
  • Work within a fast paced, agile development team in collaboration with other engineers
  • Work collaboratively to solve complex problems with innovative solutions
