A Quality Control Technician within a manufacturing environment is required by a great company on the Harwell Campus, near Didcot (OX11). Starting in July / August, this is a long term temporary contract offering excellent prospects of becoming permanent in the future. Hours of work are 6am-2pm Monday to Friday.
Quality Control Technician duties and responsibilities:
- Testing on incoming, in progress and outgoing materials ensuring any non-conformance is reported and appropriate actions taken.
- Document results and provide feedback to the production and supply teams.
- Identify subtle differences, identify trends and contribute to solutions to ensure that the quality of the supplied components and product is maintained to the highest possible standard.
- Input data in order that quality and production related queries can be answered rapidly and accurately.
To be successful in the role of Quality Control Technician you will be able to work and cooperate in a small team of 3 to 4 other Quality Control Technicians, operating in harmony to ensure the processes are followed properly. You will also possess good time management skills, have excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. Full training will be provided.
