Qualified Accountant required to support a great FD, you will lead a small finance team and oversee all aspects of general accounting. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, implementing strong controls, and ensuring timely, compliant reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including ledgers, reconciliations, and financial statements
- Lead and develop a small finance team
- Oversee fixed asset management, tax returns, and accounts payable/receivable
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
- Support audits, budgeting, and process improvements
- Collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders
About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with 5+ years' post-qualification experience
- Proven leadership skills in managing accounting teams
- Experience in manufacturing is essential
- Experience of cost accounting preferred
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
