A Personal Tax Accountant is being recruited by a professional services firm in Bournemouth. The company is well established with a good reputation in the area. They are offering full time hours but part time can be accommodated along with complete flexibility and working from home.

Working as part of their Private Client team, you will have responsibility for:

  • Liaising with clients, representatives, fee earners and third parties to co-ordinate and obtain information regarding income tax and CGT compliance on an annual basis.
  • Registering clients for self-assessment.
  • Completing self-assessment returns for individuals, trusts and estates.
  • Liaising with HMRC to ensure correct charges.
  • Ensuring tax liabilities are advised to clients in time for finance to be arranged.
  • Providing basic in-house training on computations and tax software.
  • Preparing trust accounts on a regular basis when requested by trustees.
  • Preparing tax certificates for beneficiaries of estates and trusts.
  • Preparing Capital Gains tax returns.
  • Ensuring appropriate AEOI, CRBOT and other online trust registrations and other tax compliances are dealt with.
  • Liaising in-house and with trustees to compute IHT liabilities.
  • Dealing with email and telephone enquiries.

Suitable Candidate:

Qualified Accountant, Qualified Tax Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CTA) or Qualified by Experience.
