Finance Business Partner required to join the finance team on a 12-month fixed-term basis, covering a period of maternity leave. Reporting to a senior finance lead, the role will be responsible for providing high-quality, timely and insightful financial information to senior management, budget holders and key stakeholders. This includes supporting effective financial planning, performance monitoring and decision-making across a range of operational areas.
You will lead budgeting for assigned areas, produce monthly management accounts, and provide clear analysis of income, costs, staffing and key performance metrics. The role includes forecasting, financial input into business cases for recruitment and projects, and partnering closely with non-finance managers to support effective budget management. You will also work within a small finance business partnering team and line-manage a Junior Accountant, providing day-to-day guidance and development support.
Candidate Profile
- Qualified, part-qualified accountant or QBE
- Previous experience in a busy finance function
- Strong management accounting and finance business partnering experience
- Proven ability to present clear, accurate financial information to non-finance stakeholders
- Confident user of financial systems with strong Excel skills
- Proactive, adaptable and able to work.
