We’re supporting a well-established financial services business looking for a Customer Service Consultant to join their team in Bournemouth on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong customer service background looking to gain experience within financial services. Full training will be provided, so previous financial services experience is not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and support customers, providing a professional and friendly service
- Understand customer needs and introduce relevant products and services
- Build strong customer relationships and identify referral opportunities
- Handle customer information and documentation accurately and confidentially
- Complete general administration and maintain accurate records
- Work towards agreed customer service and referral targets
- Work closely with colleagues and advisers to ensure customers receive appropriate support
Requirements:
- Previous customer-facing, retail, sales, or customer service experience
- Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner
- Comfortable discussing customer needs and identifying opportunities
- Strong attention to detail and administration skills
- Confident using IT systems
- Reliable, organised, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
