Job Description

Trainee Accountant - no experience required just a passion to start a career within Finance.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to gain valuable hands on accounting experience with strong organisational skills and an interest in pursuing a professional accounting qualification, such as AAT.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing invoices, expenses and supplier payments
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and reconciliations
  • Assisting with banking, cash management and account administration
  • Supporting month end processes, management reporting and compliance activities
  • Handling finance related queries and providing administrative support to the finance team
  • Contributing to a variety of accounting and finance tasks as required

About You

  • Educated to A-level standard or equivalent
  • Keen to build a long-term career in finance and accounting
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Able to work independently, manage priorities and maintain confidentiality
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with a range of stakeholders
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and a willingness to learn new systems
  • Interested in studying towards, an accounting qualification
