Part-Qualified ACA / ACCA Accountant required for a friendly, independent accountancy practice. My client is seeking a motivated part-qualified ACA or ACCA accountant with at least 18 months' practice experience to join the expanding team. You'll work with a varied portfolio of SMEs and individuals, gaining hands-on experience across accounts, bookkeeping, VAT, tax returns and client support.

What you'll need:

  • ACA or ACCA studier
  • Minimum 1.5 years' experience in practice
  • Strong communication and client skills
  • Experience with Xero plus knowledge of Sage & QuickBooks
  • Organised, accurate and able to meet deadlines

What you'll do:

  • Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships & limited companies
  • Bookkeeping & VAT returns
  • Personal tax returns
  • Support clients with day-to-day queries
  • Assist senior staff on client assignments
