A Systems Accountant is being recruited for our growing Ringwood based client. This is a pivotal time to join the business as they have recently merged with a larger business which requires the integration of financial information to streamline financial reporting.
Reporting to the Finance Director and working closely with the IT team, you will have responsibility for:
- Financial systems management
- Maintaining accuracy and integrity of financial data
- Technical support to finance teams, assisting with system issues
- Identifying and implementing automation opportunities and process enhancements
- Financial reporting and analysis
- Month end process for multiple subsidiaries
- Variance reporting
- Assisting with budgets and forecasts
- Liaising with remote finance team
Full time hours but 30 hours considered with flexibility.
Suitable Candidate
- Qualified or Part Qualified with relevant systems and accounting experience
- Advanced Excel essential
- Power BI, ODBC links and data extraction and analysis experience
- Experience of multi-currency and multiple entities
- Management accounts experience in a multi-currency environment
- Strong accounting systems skills – Xero in particular would be useful
