We're looking for a Senior Manufacturing Development Engineer to own the journey from experimental process to stable, scalable production. This is a role for someone who thrives at the boundary between development and operations who can define a process, prove it works, and hand it over with confidence.
From initial process definition and validation through to full industrialisation, you'll be responsible for capability, yield, cost and scalability. This is a high-impact role that spans the full NPI lifecycle and your work will aim to fulfil our client’s ambitions to deliver at volume.
The Senior Manufacturing Development Engineer will have a proven track record of taking processes from early development through to stable, high-volume production. Comfortable with formal qualification methodologies, structured problem-solving, and the rigour of controlled production environments, you know how to write a control plan, lead a root cause analysis, and build the documentation that makes a process transferable. Just as importantly, you're a confident collaborator and as confident on the shop floor as in the office.
The ideal Manufacturing Development Engineer will possess:
- A Master’s degree in Engineering and several years experience in a similar manufacturing development / process engineering role
- Excellent hands on problem solving abilities and sound knowledge of engineering fundamentals
- The ability to devise manufacturing processes from scratch
- The skills to work in a cross functional environment and having a strong shop floor mentality and presence.
You'll be joining a team working on genuinely novel manufacturing challenges in a role that provides real scope to shape processes and influence design decisions in a collaborative environment with a company offering superb progression opportunities in addition to market leading salary and benefits.
