An Electrical Build Engineer is required by a market leader in robotics and aerospace, based on site near Dorchester, Dorset.

Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing technical drawings.
  • Building bespoke, robot-based electromechanical systems.
  • Collaborating cross-departmentally.
  • Providing feedback and suggestions for improvement.
  • Identifying and solving electrical faults.
  • Travelling for system installations.

This role involves visiting client sites, including in the defence sector. Candidates must be British Citizens and able to obtain Developed Vetting security clearance.

About You:

  • HNC in an electrical-focused course, electrical apprentice trained, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in reading technical electrical drawings.
  • Quick learner of new technology.
  • Understanding of industrial safety systems.
  • Able to work independently and with stakeholders.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices.
  • Willing to travel.
