Trainee Accountant required to join a busy, well established practice. This role offers hands-on experience across accounts, VAT and tax, alongside daily client interaction and clear professional development pathways. Perfect start for someone ambitious! Key Responsibilities
- Prepare VAT returns, statutory accounts & corporation tax from manual and software-based records
- Review client financial data for accuracy, completeness and compliance
- Manage daily client queries and deliver a high standard of customer service
- Communicate professionally via phone, email and Microsoft Teams
- Maintain internal control records including reminders and follow-ups
Skills & Experience
- 1+ year of experience in an accounting environment
- Experience with accounting software and strong Microsoft Office skills
- Proven customer service experience
- Strong communication and organisational skills
