Accountant - International Payroll & Finance required for an international business - FULLY REMOTE. You will be supporting payroll and accounting activities across EMEA and APAC. This is an excellent opportunity to work in international payroll, international financial reporting and compliance within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
What you'll be doing
- International Payroll: Supporting monthly payroll processing across EMEA and APAC regions, preparing payroll reports, reconciliations, journals and accruals, reviewing payroll data, investigating variances and ensuring accuracy, working closely with HR, Finance and external payroll providers.
- Accounting & Finance: Month-end and year-end finance activities, performing bank and balance sheet reconciliations, maintaining general ledger records and posting journals, supporting audits and helping ensure international compliance requirements are met.
What we're looking for
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Payroll or similar (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in payroll AND accounting.
- Strong Excel skills and excellent numerical ability.
- High attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite a bonus).
- Great communication skills and confidence working with international teams.
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
This role is offered on a fully remote basis for a period of 1 year to cover Maternity.
