Our client is looking to recruit a Senior Production Process Engineer for a brand new assembly line in Oxford, working with best in class materials and equipment to deliver high end products for the aerospace and defence markets. This is a flagship role with huge scope for technical ownership and responsibility for delivery which will provide significant opportunities for progression, as the business continues to scale.
Senior Production Process Engineer responsibilities:
- Design, upgrade and continuous improvement of the production area, with a focus on lean manufacturing
- Work cross functionally to ensure smooth transition from NPI through to mass production
- Support RCCA activities, own PFMEAs, manage process documentation and qualification activities (IQ/OQ/PQ)
The ideal Senior Production Process Engineer will hold a BEng or MEng and have 4 or 5 years experience as a Production Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer / Process Engineer in a similar environment, with a hands on approach and a real ambition to make a mark, build something exceptional and get rewarded for it. You'll be joining a team working on genuinely novel manufacturing challenges in a role that provides real scope to shape processes and influence design decisions in a collaborative environment with a company offering superb progression opportunities in addition to market leading salary and benefits.
