We're looking for a Part-Time HR Manager to take ownership of the HR function within a growing and ambitious business. This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced HR professional who is comfortable working independently and providing practical, commercially focused advice across the business. You'll be responsible for the full employee lifecycle, supporting managers and employees while continuing to develop HR processes, policies and the wider employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day HR function and act as the first point of contact for HR matters
- Provide practical HR advice and guidance to managers and employees
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to performance and offboarding
- Lead annual performance reviews, objective setting and development planning
- Manage annual salary and remuneration reviews
- Support managers with employee relations matters including absence, capability, disciplinary and grievance processes
- Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation and HR best practice
- Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures and the Employee Handbook
- Support workforce planning, talent management and employee engagement initiatives
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and the overall employee experience
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a generalist HR management role
- Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice
- Confident managing employee relations matters independently
- Commercial and practical approach to HR
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and build effective relationships across the business
