A Head of Finance is being recruited exclusively for a small, established family business based in rural North Dorset. This is a new position reporting to the Directors, overseeing a small finance team and have responsibility for:
- Monthly management accounts
- Year end statutory accounts
- VAT returns
- Forecasting
- Budgeting
- Payroll
- Liaising with bank, accountants and other external bodies
- Involvement with strategic planning
- Future system transfer from Sage to an ERP system
Qualifications
You will need to be a Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / ACMA) or a well experienced QBE with wide ranging accounting experience in SMEs. Knowledge of the construction sector and project costing an advantage but not essential. Previous experience of ERP implementation would be particularly useful.
