Accountant (Personal Tax) required to join an established and growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to build your expertise within a respected firm known for its client first approach, collaborative culture, and commitment to integrity. As part of the Personal Tax team, you will support a broad and varied client base, delivering high quality compliance work while developing your advisory skills. You will play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring accurate, timely tax reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Personal Tax Compliance - Prepare Self-Assessment Tax Returns for individuals, HNWIs, sole traders and landlords
- Client Portfolio Management - Work toward managing your own portfolio with autonomy and accountability
- Advisory Support - Assist with tax advice on buy-to-let, foreign income, residency, and Capital Gains Tax
- Client & HMRC Liaison - Act as a key point of contact, handling queries and supporting tax enquiries
- Software & Systems - Use IRIS (preferred) and Microsoft Office to deliver accurate, efficient work
About You
- 2+ years' practice experience with exposure to personal tax
- Strong understanding of UK personal tax and Self-Assessment
- Commercially aware, proactive, and committed to putting clients first
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident using tax software and Microsoft Office
- Preferred: ATT part-qualified or qualified
- Full study support for ATT and CTA
- Ongoing CPD and structured development pathways
