Accountant required for a well established accounting firm supporting contractors, freelancers and SMEs, the role is office based in Ferndown. If you are AAT, ACCA or ACA qualified (or part-qualified) Accountant with practice experience, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding client service then come and join this growing team and work with a diverse range of clients while developing your skills in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Preparing VAT returns, statutory accounts and corporation tax returns
- Reviewing financial records for accuracy and compliance
- Managing client queries and building strong relationships
- Working with accounting software and Microsoft Office
- Supporting clients and colleagues with clear, professional communication
- Helping drive excellent service and achieve team goals
What we're looking for:
- At least 1-2 year's accounting experience
- Practice background preferred
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Accurate, detail-focused and proactive
- A team player who enjoys learning and developing
- Comfortable working in a busy and dynamic environment
