RTA Paralegal Location: Liverpool Salary: £Competitive Contract Type: Perm Position Type: Full Time We are currently recruiting for an RTA Paralegal who will be based in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about the work they do, the service they provide and getting the best results for their clients. Paralegals/Fee earners with RTA/MOJ Portal experience. Credit hire experience is not essential as full training can be provided. We will also consider applicants from both a claimant and defendant background. If you have got drive and determination, ambition and are looking for a stimulating career then we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities to include: * Receive files at the point of a further medical other than the initial GP report being needed * Instructing medicals, obtaining medical records * Assessing all medical reports and records for potential inaccuracies * Collate special damages * Manage cases up until settlement/court proceedings pack * Draft witness statements * Dealing with calls and post from third parties and clients * Recovery of any vehicle related damages and credit hire About You: * Experience of similar work would be an advantage (but not essential, full training will be given) * Office/Admin experience – preferred * Target driven whilst maintaining exceptional client care * Confident when working to targets * Excellent telephone manner and communication skills * Law Degree or LPC (or similar) will be considered * Must be IT literate with Word and Excel * The ideal candidate will be well organised, flexible and work well under pressure * Have good administration and drafting skills with attention to detail * High degree of self-management and initiative * A polite, positive, and professional telephone manner is required * Responsive and proactive approach to the work * Good team player Company Values: We’re a collaboration of companies established in 2006 working towards and guaranteeing the same goal.
