MIB Fee Earner / Solicitor Location: Liverpool Salary: £Competitive Contract Type: Perm Position Type: Full Time We are currently recruiting for a MIB Fee Earner / Solicitor who will be based in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about the work they do, the service they provide and getting the best results for their clients. We are looking for someone with previous Motor Insurance Bureau (MIB) and credit hire experience. You will have previous experience of either a claimant or a defendant background (claimant would be advantageous). If you have got drive and determination, ambition and are looking for a stimulating career then we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities to include: * Managing a case load involving liability disputes * Active use of Proclaim case management systems * Analyse risk and develop a sound judgement to justify decisions in the management of cases * Ensure that work loads are being prioritised efficiently to ensure that client service levels are being met * Improve speed of settlement whist ensuring compliance with clients requirements * Experience handling RTA files and knowledge of the Civil Procedure rules About You: * Minimum of 2 years\’ experience in a similar role. * Have proven IT skills and ability to adapt new technology. * Able to demonstrate strong administrative and organisational skills. * Excellent communication skills including oral and written presentation skills. * The ability to provide a high level of client care. * A good understanding of the MOJ process. * Good interpersonal skills. * A positive approach to working under pressure in a busy environment. * Methodical approach to tasks and problem solving. * Experience in dealing with Credit Hire Companies. * Knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules. * Preferably claimant orientated. * Proficient with Proclaim Case Management, although training will be provided. * Experience of Infant Approval Hearings and Stage 3 hearings. * Self-motivation to work independently and as part of a team with a \’can do\’ attitude.
