We are currently recruiting for a Housing Disrepair Head of Litigation who will be based in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about the work they do, the service they provide and getting the best results for their clients and who wants to lead a strong team of litigators.
Responsibilities to include:
- Managing capacity and ensuring workloads are distributed evenly across the team.
- Support, develop and motivate the team through holding regular 1-2-1’s and meetings.
- Ensuring that a high level quality of service is provided at all times.
- Embody and be a keen ambassador for the firm's values.
- Ensuring your team's cases are progressing to ensure that clients receive appropriate and professional legal advice in a timely and efficient manner, whilst managing their expectations.
- Ability to work to deadlines/targets and to prioritise a varied caseload.
- Drive performance.
- Deliver results.
About You:
- Qualified Solicitor, minimum 5+ years PQE.
- Demonstrable expertise in Housing Disrepair and Civil Litigation.
- Proven experience of leading and supervising litigation.
- Ability to positively motivate and support team members.
- Target driven whilst maintaining exceptional client care.
- Confident when working to targets.
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Excellent technical knowledge of the CPR and Housing Conditions case law.
- Ability to provide a high level of client care.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively, as part of a team and using one’s own initiative.
