Job Purpose, Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Proactively generating new leads through outbound sales calls, networking, and prospecting.
  • Handling the full sales cycle from initial contact to deal closure.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Identifying opportunities to expand services with existing clients.
  • Working closely with marketing and internal teams to optimise sales opportunities.
  • Understanding client needs and providing tailored training solutions.
  • Keeping accurate records of sales activities using CRM tools.

What We’re Looking For:

To be successful in this role, you must have / be:

  • Proven track record in consultative new business sales.
  • Experience in cold calling, lead generation, and closing deals (GBP2,000 - GBP20,000 range).
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to articulate value propositions clearly and persuasively.
  • Experience managing the entire sales cycle.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.

It would be great if you have:

  • Experience selling training, education, or professional development solutions.
  • Background in health and social care, legal training, or governance-related fields.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and sales automation tools.
  • Experience working within a consultative sales framework.
  • Understanding of public sector procurement processes.
