Our client is a long-established Chartered Independent Financial Advisory practice based in Chester, with over 40 years of experience. Their focus is on delivering thoughtful, ethical financial planning with the client’s best interests at the core of everything they do. They are currently recruiting an experienced IFA Administrator to join their busy team.

Main Duties:

  • Liaising with and supporting the advisers and paraplanners
  • Administering new business for investments, pensions and protection
  • Updating systems, preparing valuations and annual review documentation
  • Communicating with existing and prospective clients and providers by phone, email and post
  • Logging cheques and policy documents
  • Answering the telephone
  • Processing new business applications
  • Chasing outstanding items
  • Dealing with client queries
  • Updating and producing client valuations
  • Preparing client files for meetings
  • Researching performance of investment funds
  • Typing letters and reports
  • Photocopying
  • Obtaining quotes and documentation e.g. key features documents, filling in application forms and maintaining orderly files

This list is not exhaustive and personnel may be asked to undertake any other reasonable task at the discretion of the management.

Experience:

  • Knowledge of the financial advice industry
  • Experience of Wrap Platforms is highly advantageous
  • Knowledge of Xplan and FE Analytics is desirable
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Good audio/touch typing skills
